This organic offering was grown using the Saemidori cultivar in Kagoshima prefecture, located on the island of Kyushu. Both the leaf and cup have a deep, dark green color and heady, rich aroma. The leaves are typical of the Fukamushi (deep steam) style, with both larger and small leaf pieces.

First grade Bancha, produced during peak season, is a tea with herbaceous aroma, smooth character, and pale jade liquor. This organic tea has a full mouth feel, bright cup, and clean finish.
