Delicately Delightful

Aromatic and charming, this white tea with lavender is like a polite guest who smells amazing but speaks in a whisper. Friendly and delicious, yes, but if you’re after bold black or green tea punch, you’ll be left eavesdropping on subtlety.

Very disappointing

Agree with the less tea/more flavor review. Don't understand how this is so highly praised.
The Leaf is absolutely shredded into small, almost teabag size pieces.
To be fair the price is not that of a premium tea, but the flavor was just not good.
Not even shou mei flavor quality, we're talking Lipton level here.
The lavender is a we present but I didn't taste much if any vanilla.
This was brewed with 175 degree water and 2.5min
Thinking maybe I burnt the leaf, tried a second cup with 160 and a two minute infusion and it was no better.
Incredibly light liquor. Thin mouth feel. Flavor was bright and sharp but not in a good way. Very astringent.
No familiar floral/fruit notes that Chinese whites offer.
German origin on label.

More Flavor, Less Tea

Given its high ratings I bought this tea to try. As a tea lover, especially whites/greens, I am disappointed. It is flavored and has a little tea taste hiding behind the flavorings. If you are a person who loves tea, this is one is less tea and more flavor. Beware.

I'm so glad that out of all the great teas to pick from I choose this one because I love it. I love the way they added the perfect amount of lavender and this tea is exceptional. Have to get a bigger bag before they run out.

Didn’t know what to expect from buying a German Tea as I bought this one on a whim. Glad I did. One of the most unique and pleasant smelling teas i have experienced. Also very smooth tasting also. A great afternoon treat.
A bit on the sweet side but sometimes you need one like this. A great addition to my collection.

A delicate blend that manages to both soothe and invigorate. The lavender never overwhelms, but gives a tiny wake up call to tired senses

Q: How is the natural bourbon vanilla extract used in this tea? Are the leaves soaked in the vanilla extract? As a Muslim, I’m only allowed to consume it if the bourbon concentration when soaking is less than 2%.
