The Fuding tea region of northeast Fujian province is well known for its preeminent white tea production, and this white tea cake is an outstanding example of its premium quality teas. The pale golden-amber liquor is smooth and silky with pronounced honey notes in both the aroma and the flavor. Hints of stone fruit linger in the finish. Produced from a large-leaf varietal, this 4 ½ inch diameter round tea cake weighs approximately 95-100 grams and comes packaged in our silver packet.

Located in the cool, misty climate of the Rung Bong valley, the Turzum Estate has been producing high-quality Darjeeling teas since the late 1800s. This 2022 second flush offering is true to their reputation. The lively cup begins with a toasty/woody aroma, accentuated by hints of caramel. The dark amber liquor exhibits a rich fruity bouquet, complemented by an excellent pairing of muscatel sweetness and crisp citrus-like notes, which linger into the finish. Steep longer if a splash of milk is desired.

The amber-gold liquor presents a classic floral bouquet, enhanced by a tropical fruit sweetness. The refreshing finish lingers with a floral aftertaste that adds depth to the flavor profile.
Fukamushi Cha Organic
This organic offering was grown using the Saemidori cultivar in Kagoshima prefecture, located on the island of Kyushu. Both the leaf and cup have a deep, dark green color and heady, rich aroma. The exquisite liquor has sweet, vegetal notes, a brothy mouth feel and pleasing, light astringency. The leaves are typical of the Fukamushi (deep steam) style, with both larger and small leaf pieces.
