A new favorite
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Really glad I tried this! Surprisingly complex, I guess I figured only two letters "OP" meant it would be like a very astringent Assam. Instead it's sweet and buttery.

An Enduring Favorite
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I've been buying this tea for many years, and it remains one a favorite which I can count on. It brews strong enough but not bitter, even when I forget to remove the leaves after 5 minutes. The cost is reasonable.

Bold but restrained bright cup.
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Bright but restrained, malty enough for body, and bold enough to stand up. More refined tasting than rough. Adequate for iced tea. Perhaps a nice sweetness, a touch of sugar accentuates the wonderful flavor of this medium bodied tea.

Too many stems.
This shopper rated the product 3 out of 5 stars

I understand that stems are a part of tea, but the bachel I received seemed to be about half stems. It was very bitter, but the tea itself did taste pretty good, what I would expect but just disappointed at the quality.

This is a wonderful tea
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I've been drinking Upton's tea for decades due to my (now tea obsessed) american father's endless efforts to woo his english wife in the morning with a good cup of tea. This tea is a beautiful morning cup. It's balanced yet flavorful, goes brilliantly with milk, but is also still very nice with almond milk. I like many of the other black tea options but this one is good enough to drink every morning and not get tired of.
