Lapsang Souchong Imperial

The average rating for this product is 4.5 out of 5 stars 70 Reviews
The best China Lapsang Souchong we have found. To our knowledge, we are the only importer of this grade of Lapsang Souchong tea. Superior in flavor. Very smoky, yet quite mellow.

Delightful full flavored

Unlike some lower quality Lapsang Souchong, this one, Lapsang Souchong Imperial, is full of tea flavor.

Strong showing

This Lapsang Souchong was full bodied and had a good taste to it. I do prefer the Black Dragon though which quite a bit stronger.

Very strong! It's like liquid campfire! Some will love it, some will hate it, and you won't REALLY know until you try it for yourself (either way it will Wow you). For me it's just too strong to drink by itself. However, I found it's absolutely perfect if I mix it with a good black, smooth Keemun (do not mix it with a malty black!) I used a 1:4 ratio (1 tsp of this smokey Lapsang with 3 tsp of Keemun, with 32 oz of water). This was perfect because the campfire flavor was still there, but just way more toned down!

LAPSANG SOUCHONG IMPERIAL HAS BEEN MY EVERY-DAY FOR YEARS
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I guess i'm a smoke-obsessed girl, in both drinking and eating. i use this tea to smoke mushrooms, salmon, poultry, fish...i'm always experimenting. i drink it straight, as iced tea usually, and sometimes i add it to other beverages- like keffir. it's actually fairly subtle, not overpowering at all.
