- I didn't think I liked Lapsang Souchong at all until I tried this version. The smokiness doesn't overwhelm your senses and there are some nice complexities that come through.

- I drink this from October to April: when the maples start changing color, I'm savoring this wonderfully mellow smoky flavor.
- 5 star for a lapsang but 5 star darjeelings are better

- This will be a good choice if you like lapsang souchong tea and i do, the premium china lapsang was also good. I did those 2 with a try at the imperial lapsang and the imperial was a touch less good than the other two. I recommend this tea. Lapsangs can't compare to an excellent delicate white or a great darjeeling like steinthal but enjoyable.

- An extremely balanced and smooth Lapsang. Lightly smoked, you clearly know it is a Lapsang, without being overpowered. Light to medium bodied, the flavor is complex yet easy to drink.
- A More Gentle Lapsang Souchong

- This is actually the least smoky Lapsang Souchong that Upton carries. It took me a little time to get used to it, but now I really enjoy this multifaceted tea. A big plus for me is the lower caffeine, as I am getting more sensitive to caffeine as I get older. Subjectively I would guess it has about half the caffeine of a normal black tea.
