Roasted Oolong

This tea begins as a classic, medium-oxidized Tie-Guan-Yin Oolong, processed in the traditional style. It is finished and cured with a slow firing in bamboo baskets over a charcoal fire. The result is a tea with smooth, rich and inviting character.

Bold, but not astringent this roasted oolong has been on my keep-in- stock list for a couple of years now. For a great iced tea, I finish it off with the juice of half a grapefruit, third lemon, and one whole orange for a refreshing beverage your guests won't get enough of!

This is the first cup of oolong I’ve ever had and found that experience to be life changing in how I viewed tea, as suddenly a whole new area of it opened up before me. I reccomend this as a starter oolong for people who love black teas and want a nutty tasting one with a strong roast.
