  • I was disappointed by this sample. Paper-like taste that reminds me of cheap tea bags. Also has a little bite like a sencha; maybe some oolong-like character. I would not have identified this as a Chun Mee type tea.

  • Easy gateway into green teas. Chun Mee Moon will woo you with its gentle floral flavor. My first love in green tea. I have to brew this stronger than most other greens because it has no bitterness edge at all. Really pretty. Organic, too! (I rate green teas separately from black teas.)

  • This tea is a lovely green tea. An incredibly smooth mouth feel and wonderful undertones of honey make this tea a beautiful complement to fresh fruits and white meats.

  • I got this as a sample and absolutely love it It's mild, but not 'grassy,' with just the right amount of flavor and a hint of sweetness. Don't steep it for more than 2 minutes and make sure the water temperature is about 180 degrees.

  • This tea smells divine; but when brewed, it's not very complex and gets bitter quickly once past the 2 minute mark of steep time. (yes, it was steeped at 180 degrees).

  • It is quite good although it can be quite weak if under-steeped.
  • It's not easy being green

  • As other suggested, use a scant teaspoon if not weighing it - it is definitely green! I used a short brew time of 1.5 or the tannins were too strong for me. Husband liked 2.5 - he loves tannins. I would not buy again - my husband would drink it again if we had it, but wouldn't go out of his way to get it.

  • I am very new to loose leaf tea. I got the great tea sampler and this is by far my favorite. This is something you have to try.

  • This tea is a wonderful and affordable green tea. It is light but not weak and has a rich finish! Steeping at the right temperature for the recommended time is crucial in achieving the best taste! Would recommend and will buy again!

  • I agree with Rita. I also detect a very slight smokiness along with the delicate and fresh 'green' flavor she mentions. Also agree that a scant teaspoon at 2 minutes is the limit in order to capture the subtle flavors and not overpower with the tart, tannin-y 'end note'.
  • Very Delicate Flavor

  • There is a certain delicacy and "greenness" of flavor that I look for in green teas, and this one definitely has those qualities. Important not to use too much or brew too long. A scant teaspoon and two minutes is perfect.

  • Very good organic green tea for the price. I will get this again.
