Attractive and bold, the large, dark brown leaves of this organic offering have a folded, crepey appearance. The medium amber cup has a hint of caramel sweetness, a warm toasty quality, and a gentle pungency that plays at the edge of your palate.
Produced a very light colored tea with barely any flavor. I even tried steeping double the recommended quantity of tea leaves, brewing as suggested, and still could barely taste tea through the dash of milk I use.
Outstanding standalone drinker

A bit cleaner and lighter than many Ceylons, but with plenty of flavor and an appealing smoothness that makes it a wonderful choice to enjoy without milk. An instant favorite.
Many subtle flavors

This is not the straightforward brisk cuppa Ceylon that my grandmother used to serve, but rather something more delicate and subtle. Best without milk, it reveals many different sweet and fruity flavors. Lovely for an afternoon tea.
