About every year or two we order a bunch of samples and do a rigorous side by side testing, and then make our order. But a year in, we are asking "which one are we running out of?" "Which one do we want more of?" "Which one do we want to order a tin for the nieces and nephews?" Leadenhall! It's a rags to riches story.

This tea has a wonderful aroma and a fantastic body. It really is great with cream, maybe a touch of honey. I didn't think I liked the breakfast blends, but here I am! I'll be back for this.
A delightful breakfast blend

A wonderfully complex blend that makes a delicious breakfast companion we buy again and again. I now brew it for 3 minutes as recommended. (The first pot I made I over-brewed at 5 minutes, which made it go bitter, tannic, and bullet proof.) We drink ours straight, but it would work well with milk.

I like to heavily steep my tea...why? I love to taste the strong flavor, and add heavy cream, and honey!
It's a great tea, holds up we'll if I get busy and have to reheat it's still delicious hours after steeping.

This is my favorite blend from Upton. A great morning brew. Good complex taste and also has some punch to start my day. The name & flavor do indeed remind me of the old market in London of the same name.

Brews into a very bracing morning cup. Stands up well to a dollop of honey and a few splashes of milk.
