Love this tea!
Kathy – TX – May 09, 2020

I've been drinking this breakfast tea for many years & it's still my "go to" every morning for the first cup. I like it with a little lemon. I'm not a tea expert by any means, but I think this is a great tea! BTW--LOVE Upton Tea! They are great and always give fantastic service!!

Finicky, temperamental; still ok.

An uncomplicated English Breakfast tea that has a habit of getting over-brewed when I first wake up... Thus, it needs constant supervision and vigilance (which is bit of an overstretch for first thing in the morning). The flavor is basic and pleasant. Although, the Leadenhall Street beats it with better flavor and tolerance for inattentive seeping.

Good Quick Cup-a

Had this in my cup over many years and it remains consistent. I like it because it is a strong full flavored morning cup that is fully infused in just 3 mins.. So when I need a quick pot to wake up with while reading the news or before rushing out the door this is what I reach for. If I have an extra minute there are a few others that I open.

Gets the job done

Wakes you up for sure, but the flavor ultimately lacks dimension.

Perfect English Breakfast Blend

This is my go-to tea when I crave a good English Breakfast tea. Brew it strong, if you take it with cream or milk; or brew as suggested and savor its better than average aroma and complex flavor. Good value!

A hearty cup indeed

This is one strong cup of tea! It is definitely a tea that will wake you up! I don’t use milk, just sugar, so I brew it up a little weaker than suggested and it makes a really nice cup of tea.

A breakfast pick-me-up

The CTC leaves insure that there is a maximum leaf surface area-to-water ratio, producing a good strong flavor without becoming bitter. It balances well with a touch of honey and a splash of milk.

My "go to" standby.

Suggested brewing is a little too strong for me but that is easy to fix.
