Meleng Estate FTGFOP1 (OR-535) Assam
Producing premium teas since 1856, the Meleng Estate is one of the oldest tea gardens in Assam. Decorated with a sprinkling of golden tips, the dark brown leaves of this selection produce a deep copper liquor fragrant with pronounced notes of malt and hints of cocoa, complemented by a dried fruit sweetness. The strong, thick cup offers a complex flavor profile with layers of honey, dark baking chocolate, oak and spice. The lingering finish exhibits a dryness reminiscent of a fine Burgundy wine. Excellent with milk.
