  • Nice aroma. Toasty, leather, slightly peppery. A little too astringent steeped at 5 min. Try 4 minutes instead. A little too delicate to stand up to milk and sugar.

  • Ceylon is essential for a great iced tea. The three best I've ever found 3) This one. 2) The TGFOP Lumbini same lot (slightly higher grade). 1) Ivy Hills (oh how I miss thee). Still - this is a lovely tea. Raisin sweetness, a touch of caramel, hint of tobacco and wintergreen, slight clove. Just lovely.

  • I tried this as a sample and will order more to add to my breakfast tea line up. A nice change from my usual assam blends, its robust but crisp. Almost too much tannins steeped at 5 minutes, steeped at 4 minutes there is a subtle smoke or leather in a good way.
