Bought this as an iced tea. Ok as an iced tea although it clouds up. It shines as hot tea. It has a good blend of gentle smokiness and mild oak hints. I prefer it as a hot tea more so than an iced tea.

I've tried different teas as iced tea but this is the one I keep coming back to. It's flavorful and refreshing - everything you want in an iced tea. I make it by the hot tea method with double the usual amount of tea and steep for 4 minutes before pouring over ice. When my kids visit during the summer, they always ask for it too.

Trying this blend as hot tea made with just a touch more leaf than I would normally use, I found the dark copper infusion smooth and mildly sweet, standing up well to milk. There was no discernible muscatel flavor, but this will nonetheless be a breakfast-time favorite for me.

Used 32 grams in a 3x3x3 round infuser. After 5 minutes of brewing in just removed rolling boil water it produced a dark concentrate. Mixing that with water in a 1.5 gallon container with 1/3 C sugar it produced an excellent flavor. The tea is strong but has a great flavor. Might try 28 grams the next time as the infuser was chalk full upon removal

This is a staple in our household. It has become our everyday pitcher of tea. Friends politely acknowledge our enthusiasm for teas when they see our tea shelves fully stocked, but then always compliment on the wonderful taste when we serve them a glass of this Darjeeling-Ceylon blend.

I bought this for my husband, but he’s too much a philistine to appreciate the quality. I however appreciated the flavors. I did have to experiment a bit to find the right leaf to water ratio. For me, I found that 5-6 min brew time and the recommended weight to water ratio for hot tea gave a good flavor when mixed with equal parts cold water.
