This handcrafted, organic offering from Korea is called Jung-Jak, or "medium sparrow tongue." The bright golden cup has a crisp character, nicely balanced with a sweet melon note. The liquor has a floral fragrance and a clean, refreshing finish.

  • I will say that the Korean Jung-Jak is the most deliscious green that I have drank to this point.I dod not usually write reviews but this tea is so good, even after a5 minute steep at aproximately 180 I experienced no bitterness or tannins just a well balanced tea.the organic pai-mu-tan is also and excellent white with a beautiful honey aroma

  • On a whim I ordered a sample, and was very pleased. Pleasant and not at all bitter on a third brewing (note: I brew loose green tea 2:45, not the full 3 minutes) I note what other have written about a seaweed aftertaste, and I do not find that at all.
  • Really nice tea

  • This very pleasant tea is mellow and flavorful in a harmonious way. It has no disruptive flavors. I am a repeat buyer x 4 or 5 and haven't been let down.
  • A pretty nice tea

  • Definitely some astringency and has a tendency to oversteep. It's a nice tea with a fresh taste, more seaweed than grass. Not buttery.
  • Not for everyone. Fishy and seaweed taste.

  • I hate to give this a bad rating, but the description doesn't mention a fishy or seaweed flavor so was not expecting it. I didn't taste floral or melon notes. Just tastes like seaweed to me. But looking at other people's reviews, some people like that taste.
  • My new favorite green tea

  • This one has an unusual seaweed-like strike before it mellows into the usual green tea character. There's a Japanese snack like a seaweed jerky, and that's exactly what the initial strike is like. It's different from other green teas, and might not agree with your palate. It's my new favorite, but I'd suggest a small initial order before a big one.

  • To me, this is like a cross between a Japanese style and a Chinese style green tea. Good for people who like both and are looking for something new-- or don't like having to decide between them.
  • Outstanding green tea from Korea

  • This is one of my favorite green teas. Has a smooth flavor and mild astringency with a clean finish. Don't over steep- 2 1/2 minutes is plenty.
