Excellent Sencha, Recommended

My favorite green is a good sencha. This one is probably one of the best I've ever tasted.

Very light

I love green tea and this tea has all of the things you'd expect. It is extremely light in flavor so if you prefer a bit more taste I'd recommend you brew it a bit longer than normal.

Makes the most amazing fruit flavored Iced teas.

While not my favorite green tea hot, its wonderful vegetal and grassy notes boldly support a wide variety of fruit when Iced. I especially love it with crushed fresh blueberries and lime. Or with fresh squeezed grapefruit and orange. I use two heaping TSP per pitcher and 1/3 cup sugar for a refreshing summer treat!

A quality Sencha at a very good price point

Clean, a bit grassy, with no bitterness. An excellent cup, especially for the price.

Distinctive and inviting green tea

A long-time Darjeeling drinker, I came to this sencha looking for a green tea with character and complexity. This one delivered splendidly, with a grassy freshness supported by firm vegetal undertones. My everyday green tea that still feels special, and at an attractive price.

Affordable and balanced

I've been a customer of upton tea for many years and sampled many of their green teas, and this one is a reliable favorite. It's brothy with a balance of green vegetable and a bit of fruit on the finish, not harsh or bitter, and not too seaweedy. I've had guests who I've served it to request to have it again. Plus it's super affordable.
