Colombian Tippy Black Tea Organic

The juxtaposition of dark leaves and golden tips gives this black tea from Colombia a beautiful appearance. The dark copper amber liquor is fragrant with toasty cocoa hints. The rich cocoa quality carries on in the flavor of the full-bodied cup, finishing with a raisin sweetness.

It's Own Thing

I was intrigued by the story, bought a sample, and was delighted by the strong, unique flavor--other reviews have described it better than I could. It is always bracing and never wears out its welcome as an every day tea. Reordering again so I always have it on hand.

I have found my new favorite tea. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the malty, almost smokey flavor that is so rich and full bodied and satisfying. I like strong flavored tea that takes sweetener and milk well, which this does. The most delicious I've tasted so far. To compare, other teas I love are the English Breakfast Organic, and the Yunnan Black Snail.

I have just ordered our second 8.8 oz bag of this Colombian tea and we still like it. I just wanted to add that, with some sips, there is a faint but noticeable taste of peppermint. The Bride thinks so too. Curious, no? I use a couple drops of clear liquid stevia in an eight ounce cup and a well rounded teaspoon of leaves.

This is truly a very unique tea due to its flavor profile. Quite frankly I've never tasted anything quite like it before. Try this with just a little bit of the sweetener of your choice or otherwise plain. This is a perfect choice to drink in the summertime when an Assam would be just too bold.

Wonderfully rich flavor

At first I wasn’t sure if I liked this tea, because it tastes decidedly different from the many “orthodox” blends of black, darjeeling, assam and “breakfast” teas I am used to, but I slowly came to enjoy and appreciate its very pronounced “malty” flavor, and it has become one of my favorites.

Very nice tea

We first bought a sample of this tea and liked it enough that we have ordered a regular size. The tea has a nice aroma, produces a dark liquor and is very flavorful. If you like a dark flavorful tea, then this is for you.
