This substantial scoop measures 7 ¾” long, with the teapot scoop on one end and the cup scoop on the other end. The Teapot Scoop measures 1 ¾” in diameter with a 1 1/8” depth. Based on an average size tea leaf (such as TA40 ), this scoop will hold the equivalent of approximately 6 flat measuring teaspoons (30mL, or 2 flat measuring tablespoons). The Cup Scoop measures 1 ¼” in diameter with a 5/8” depth. This scoop will hold the equivalent of approximately 1.3 teaspoons (6.5 mL, or a rounded measuring teaspoon).
