- I am not a tea connoisseur, thou after trip to UK and my F&Mason tea ran out, breakfast tea I was finding locally in US was disappointing. Tried 10 or so samples of breakfast style teas from Upton and this was my favorite.

- This is a very flavorful breakfast blend. Full-bodied, quite malty and with a smooth finish. Although I take it with a modest amount of milk, I've tried it black, and it is not harsh in the least (at least brewed for 3 min.).
- Perfect with milk and sweetener

- Tried it in the Introduction to Fine Teas sampler. Best cup of Assam I've had. It holds up very well to milk and sugar. I'm ordering more.

- This is by far my favorite. It has a rich, earthy flavor without any trace of bitterness. I was never into tea and always an afternoon coffee drinker until tried this. I'm hooked. Thanks

- The leaves themselves have a muted look to them. Not as dark as the Assams I usually favor. When brewed, the tea has the color of a medium grade maple syrup, amber. Delicate taste. Sunny start then full, biscuity finish. Good for relaxed Spring mornings. Also lovely iced.

- I originally tried this in Introduction to Fine Tea sampler. I ended up buying a bag. Essential it’s a breakfast tea. My stomach is sensitive to the tannins in tea (I usually need lots of sweetener—and in rare cases milk), I’m able to drink this with just a small amount of sweetener. I will definitely be buying this again!

- I bought East Frisian tea from a well known tea company for years. Loved it. They changed the blend and it was awful and unrecognizable. I finally found the real thing and I thank Upton tea. Your East Frisian tea is wonderful. A full bodied, malty, mellow cup of tea that is delicious and perfect for mornings and afternoon pick me ups. Perfect!

- With all the teas available at Upton I used to sample different black teas, but I always came back to East Frisian BOP for my every morning tea. I love it with milk. I sometimes add a cinnamon stick to the pot. I even enjoy the leftovers slightly diluted and iced in the summer.
- Bought a 125g bag by mistake - so glad I did!

- LOVE LOVE LOVE this tea! Meant to purchase the sample size, since I've never tried it before. So glad I accidentally clicked on the bigger size. This tea is malty, strong, sooooo yummy with sweetener and milk. I have a new favorite tea. Almost didn't write a review, because I don't want to compete with other customers over this delicious tea.

- I traveled in Switzerland for a number of years. The hotels sold a wonderful tea I couldn't forget. It took me two years, but I discovered it to be this tea sold by Upton. I later found it at a local shop, but it was not even close in flavor. I love this tea and have ordered it many times. Milk and sweetener is best. My favorite!
