The large leaves of this 2023 imperial broken-leaf Assam offering are generously laced with flecks of curled, golden tips, which produce a robust cup with a toasty aroma hinting of marzipan sweetness. The dark ruby-copper liquor has a thick mouth feel evocative of rich cocoa and malt, punctuated by a rich note of Burgundy that lingers in the smooth finish. Great with a splash of milk.
