Description: From the peak of the second flush season, this fine tea has an abundance of golden tips, with a fresh and rich Assam aroma. The cup has a mild malty aspect and, with a pleasing level of pungency, can take milk well.

"Very flavorful, sweet cup. A bit lighter than other Assam teas, but extremely aromatic. Good thick tea, that highlights the best of what Assam offers (full-bodied, strong)." ghostrider

"1/2/12: Almost too much cocoa flavor. Too similar to the Manohari to be worth the premium right now. Let's see what oxidation does to it. 1/18/12: Much improved after repeated openings of package. Rich with subtle tippiness. Some teas need to breathe." JennyG

"This one is just 'ok' for me. The leaves have almost a wiry appearance. There is a dark flavor, even with milk, that I don't care for too much. There are other assams for a similar price that I would much rather have."
