Description: A superb example of the classic Gunpowder style green tea. Tender young leaves are rolled into small, shiny pellets. The liquor has a darker than typical color, with a light astringency and slightly smoky nuances, with hints of sweetness.

"I've tried all the other gunpowders here, and this one is the smokiest, robust and well-balanced. Smoke is the strongest characteristic; almost deep enough to taste a little bit roasted. Makes at least 2 quality steeps, 3 if you're relishing it. Definitely doesn't even need sweetener since it's so full-bodied."
