Description: This is another top selection from one of our favorite estates. The dry leaf has the rich, fresh aroma of a classic Mangalam Estate Assam. The cup has an invigorating strength and pungency. Notes of malt and fruit may be enhanced with the addition of milk, if desired.

"Beautiful leaf and aroma. Strong and hearty without astringency. Like the breakfast Assams of old. Too bad about the high price, though." Tim O

"I found this tea have a natural tendency towards bitterness. The 4-5 minute brew time instructions resulted in extremely bitter tea. Reducing the brew time to 2.5 minutes and using milk gave better results. Time, qty, and temp critical. This tea is not forgiving. Good when brewed correctly."
