Description: A great quality fannings grade, with an attractive leaf and a fair amount of tip. The flavor of the dark cup is rich and smooth. The liquor has good strength and pungency, and can accommodate milk, if desired. Light toasty notes round off the flavor profile.

"While not as incredibly pungent as a similar Upton offering from Mangalam about a year ago, this is a good strong cup with slight fruity/sweet hints. An especially good value." C.J. Mitschele

"I like a strong and flavorful cup of tea with milk. This one is weak and flavorless, and a 2 kg disappointment (I took a chance on the one existing rating and purchased two 1 kg packages). Next time I will stick with Assam Fine, which is my Upton favorite. For the next year or two, I will be diluting Assam Fine with this stuff."
