Description: Vietnam has been known to produce teas especially suited for blending. Recent lots have achieved the status of "self drinker", which recognizes these teas as flavorful and complex enough to be enjoyed as straight, unblended teas. Smooth, flavorful, with gentle notes of spice, and sweet finish, this tea is a great addition to our Season's Pick line. A very versatile selection, good hot or iced, with milk or plain.

"They're right about Vietnam BPS as a tea to enjoy by itself. By no means great, it is quite drinkable, with just a hint of acerbity which livens but doesn't overwhelm. BPS is a reasonable everyday tea, with or without milk. Don't make it too strong!" Stephen Shotwell

"A dull, dusty taste, not very tea-like, reminds me of Pero (a European coffee substitute from decades past.) Not even good for blending with the Hattialli fannings."
