The Kandy district of Sri Lanka yields flavory teas which are influenced by the same dry winds between monsoons that blow through Uva, and the prime picking season runs from December through early Spring. Kandy Ceylons provide excellent taste and a clean liquor.

This bolder leaf grade from the Kandy district consists of well-twisted, wiry leaf as well as tender leaf stock. The cup quality is excellent, with a wonderfully smooth liquor and a hint of rose in the aroma.
