This 2012 tea was produced from ancient tea trees in the Wu-Yi mountain eco-reserve. Enveloped in clouds and fog nearly year-round, the climate of this area is particularly suited for growing tea. The cup has a "Yan" or rock flavor, imparted by the high mineral content of the soil. The flavor and aroma are rich and mellow. The clean finish has a pleasing floral note. The scant production of top quality old tree black tea, makes this offering especially treasured. Factory packed in non-resealable pouches.
